Tender Book – South African Airways

The Client:

Alpha LSG Skychefs is the largest airline catering company in the world. They offer a wide range of products and services – from full service through to food, logistics or onboard retail only. Their business has combined revenues of more than £300 million and employs around 3,600 people providing catering, retail and logistics services from facilities located at 17 airports throughout the UK.

The Project:

Alpha LSG required the design, print & delivery of a Tender document for winning South African Airways as a client. They wanted their service offerings to be presented in a clean, professional and friendly manner. The document had to be eye-catching and inspire their potential client to read through the whole book, rather than just glancing at certain key pages. They believe that creating a favourable first impression will assist them in being considered for winning a contract with South African Airways.

The Solution:

As tender documents tend to be complex projects that require content input from multiple departments and sources, project managing becomes key. We were able to work very closely with Alpha LSG’s staff to create a work process timeline that was flexible enough to accommodate last minute changes, but also have strict design deadlines that would allow it to reach the printer in time. Get New Design also undertook the tasks of wordsmithing and proof-reading the document for quality control. We also work closely with our preferred printing house, that provides us with a multitude of choices when it comes to choosing the paper quality, cover finishes and binding methods.
