The Client:
Kingfisher Investment Group, KIG, was created by a consortium in 2010. Since then, KIG has spread into several markets, with investments in finance for cars and heavy machinery, real estate, elite sports services, and medical software. Today, Kingfisher Investment Group has offices in Los Angeles, Moscow, Melbourne and Toulouse. Their corporate headquarters are in St James’s, London, while their interests span Asia, Australasia, Europe and North America.
The Project:
Kingfisher IG (KIG) required a brand new website to showcase their constantly growing portfolio of companies and services. Their requirements were to make sure that the website was brought inline with modern Web best practices (HTML 5, Responsive site, SEO-friendly etc.) and for the website to showcase their various acquisitions in a visually striking way. As their portfolio is so diverse, it was very important to make sure that not one of the businesses stood out from the others.
The Solution:
Get New Design developed an eye-catching visual-based WordPress website that could accommodate the company’s various service offerings. The site was optimised for all devices, therefore future-proofing it for the long-term. The solution uses WordPress as its Content Management System so that the client can update and manage the content on their site with ease. WordPress allows for a very scalable solution that can allow the client to add as many more pages as they want without the system becoming too resource-heavy.
